Turmeric-Yogurt Marinade

Tumeric-Yogurt Marinade

Makes about 1 cup


1 cup plain, full-fat yogurt, preferably grass-fed
2-inch finger fresh turmeric, peeled
1 1/2-inch finger fresh ginger, peeled
3 cloves garlic
2 sprigs fresh curry leaves
1 1/2 teaspoons cumin seeds
1/2 teaspoon black peppercorns
1/2 teaspoon red chile flakes
2 teaspoons kosher salt (Diamond Crystal)


1) Blend together until smooth. Use as a marinade for chicken, vegetables and firm-fleshed fish. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
